Daiict college review

A. I have applied for JOSSA in which I was alloted SVNIT ECE I have not opted for this choice because I think there is a vast opportunity in cse field besides this it is of my interest. The placement of DAIICT is better than that of SVNIT and the coding culture of daiict in itself is unique and great. B. I belong to the general category C. The admission in DAIICT occurs in 3 ways:- ACPC counselling(50% seats)- for Gujarat counselling. The top 100 ranks in GUJCET are selected for DAIICT. JEE mains (35% seats)-The minimum rank to get admission in DAIICT is 15000 approx. Foreign quota(15% seats)- Reserved for foreign students. D. The filling of the form starts as soon as the results of JEE mains are declared. You have to specifically register on the official website of DAIICT providing them with your jee main result.

A. Daiict only offers 2 courses ICT(information and communication technology) and MNC (mathematics and computing). The course is basically a mixture of it, electrical and computer engineering, which makes it course unique. B.There are a total of 100 students in a class and 2 professors allotted to them for 1 subject (1 for theory, 1 for labs) C. All the faculties are highly educated (PhD holders for foreign universities) with good teaching experience. Unfortunately, these degrees don't help in teaching the teachers are not at all interactive and students have to study on their own. D. there are 2 main exams (midterm and end term) besides this there are weekly quizzes. It is very difficult to score in exams as DAIICT is a private college the professors are free to assign their own rules. The average of the class lies between 6-7 CGPA. only 1-2 students get a CGPA of more than 9.

A. Approximately 11 dream companies visit the campus for internships during the 2nd summer break and the 4th sem breaks. for the third year students. All the companies are tech companies only ( as there is only one branch in DAiict). The stipend varies from company to company, it lies between 20000 -100000 depending on your skills in coding and your projects. The companies provide pre placement offers to many students (approximately 40 out of 300 students gets PPO) B. The companies like amazon gives web based projects while companies like Microsoft are more intended towards software development and MAchine learning. Google hires students who have a great grip on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Whereas there are some startup companies also and I consider them as best to learn as you get a chance to work on software from scratch.

A. The students have to do compulsory internships after the 4th semester. Some students get the pre placement offers while others attend the placements in the final year. While students are free to take internships at any point of time during the course. B. A vast variety of companies visit daiict. It includes Microsoft (7 offers), sprinklr (10 offers), amazon (11 offers), Goldman Sachs (14 offers ), codenation (9 offers) and many others. The average package is 17.85 lpa and the highest package is 52 lpa (goldmanSachs) C. Approximately 95% of students gets placements and some opt for higher studies. D. I am interested in MBA from Stanford University.

A. The fees are nominal as any other private institute. The fee for 1 semester is 43000, plus the registration fees of 4000 (after every even semester). The hostel fee is 2000 per semester. The total cost of 1 year I would say is 160000(approx). B. MYSY Scholarship - This scholarship is provided by the government of Gujarat. The students above 80% in 12th can apply for this scholarship. 50% of the fees will be paid by the government. DAIICT Scholarships- i. DAIICT offers free education to the top 4 people of jee mains rank. ii. The top 5 performers of the semester are given free education that semester.

A. The annual fest is Synapse which is conducted in February whereas the tech fest is ifest which is generally conducted in the august - September period. The annual fest of DAIICT is the best fest organised in Gujarat, several other college students also come to attend the fest. B. Daiict has a huge library which contains books and journals on a variety of topics besides this daiict has an online library also for its students. C. The classrooms are fully furnished with smart boards and air conditioners. The labs are also well equipped, D. There are 12-13 sports teams including football, cricket, basketball and others. Weekly contests are organised by different clubs. E. The details of the clubs and groups are mentioned in the offical website of daiict.

A. The rooms are accommodated for 2 students. The hostel provides 2 beds, 2 study tables, 2 Almeria, 1 fan, 1 induction cooktop. The hostels have free wifi facilities with an average speed of 5mbps. B. Daiict does not provide the mess system, instead, it has a daily basis canteen system. It is quite affordable (same in the price of mess) and has a great food quality. Besides this, you are free to eat outside whenever you want. C. The hostel is alloted as soon as the admission is done. Everyone must stay in the hostel for BTech students while the PhD or MTech students are allowed to live in rooms or PG's. The first year students are not allowed to take laptops with them. They have to rely on the colleges pcs.

A. No there is no group discussion, interview involved, But you have to clear JEE mains with a good percentile of around 98.5. B. The only criteria is your rank in jee or acpc. C. The preparation of JEE was the basic source for admission.
