nmamit ee branch review

I applied for nmamit via counselling held in Bengaluru. I went by ranking. After counselling, I directly went to college for document verification and to complete the rest procedure. The process was smooth.

the course and curriculum were as per standard but can not say the same about all the faculty members. the ratio was around 180:15. A few were Btech qualified and pursuing MTech from the same college and some were associate and assistant professors. The faculty of control system at my time was Dr. shreesa shrre who was quite good. The exams were always held on time with a moderate level.

from the 7th semester, students were getting placements. a lot of companies visited the campus TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree,l&t. About all students were placed except those who did not go for placements. the highest package was around 5 lakhs and the average was 3.20lakhs. about 80-85% were placed. I prepared for gate and ese exams.

the fee structure was being provided before the admission to the next semester with a little hike, not much The scholarship was there for whos cgpa in the semester. I did not apply for the job on campus.

the annual fest was conducted every year in November and December with a changed name. the tech fest was held at regular intervals. Every book related to the course was available in the library. The amenities were a desk for sitting and a board with a projector. the annual sports program was there with inter and intra branch competition. Diwali, Onam and Pongal celebrations were held every year. Social groups were on Facebook.

In rooms, we were given a bed, a table with a chair and a cupboard. The facilities in the hostel were very good. The quality of the meal was quite good and the menu was decided by the group of students. the registration process was very simple and the most important was that it was very much affordable with good quality. I spent all 4 years in the hostel itself although pgs are available there in the locality.
