Remarks
I got 718 ranks in PECE held by JCECE and am willing to take admission in some of the good collges in Jharkhand to pursue my Diploma in Mechanical engineering, like Government polytechnic, Jamshedpur & Government polytechnic Dhanbad, etc. I didn't applied for any quota as I am from General category. My rank was not sufficient to get admission in these colleges at first counseling but I got admission in GP Dhanbad in 2nd Counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview
My elder brother had done a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering that's where I got to know about it and thought of pursuing it. Maximum faculties in this college are Part-Time Lecturers. They are B.Tech holders completing their M.Tech. In this college, external examinations are held twice in the semester and no cheating is allowed and also held surprise tests.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Larsen and Toubro, Usha Martin, Jindal steel are visited. The highest package is approximately 5 lakh, and the average package is 3 lakh. Approximately 20-30% of students are getting placement. I go for a higher degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly the college fee including examination fee registration fee and form fee is approximately 5000 to 6000. This fee is normal and also government provide scholarship upto 8000 for SC, ST and OBC students.
Campus Life
In this, no annual fest and are conducted. Books are available in the library but do not allow all books. In the classroom projector are available. No sports and extracurricular activities are not held on the campus. No social groups or clubs in this college.
