The college is good with the only problem being food. There should be a canteen apart from the mess where students can have food of different varieties.

CAT. Percentile 99.01. I chose IIM Lucknow because this was one of the most prestigious and oldest management institution in the country. The admission process was hassle free. There was no GD round in the admission process which I think is good since I feel candidates cannot be evaluated based on GD.

The course is very demanding with continuous evaluation process which consists of quizzes, projects, assignments, field surveys and exams. Class participation also forms an integral part of the evaluation process. The curriculum is mostly up to date. However in the field of operations the focus is still on manufacturing sector. The focus could be shifted to service operations as services are taking over most of the jobs in our country.

Yes IIM Lucknow provides internship with good stipends. The internship will be during the break between term 3 and term 4.

The placements and job opportunities at IIM Lucknow are very promising as it is one of the most prestigious institute in the country. Almost every student gets placed and the get roles in diverse domains like marketing, finance, operations, strategy and human resources.

The biggest event of the college is Manfest-Varchasva which is the annual business, management and cultural festival of IIM Lucknow. Participation from local and national colleges makes it a big event. MV also has a leadex event where prominent leaders come and speak. Several other committees and clubs also conduct national and intra-college events during the year.

Fee structure is comparatively more affordable in IIM Lucknow as compared to other IIMs in the country. The total fees including the tuition and accommodation etc amount to 14 lakh for 2 years. This fees include all the electricity charges, cost of books etc.

There are not many good scholarships offered by college. There are some banks which provide loans to fund the tuition fee.

The campus life is very jam-packed with academics, placements and extra curricular activities. The gender ratio is good and the student body is very diverse. There are enough facilities for sports and other engagements in the campus. Intersection cultural events and sports events happen to increase the bonding within the students of the section.

The hostel facilities in IIM Lucknow are good. There is a water cooler and washing machine. However the mess food is not very good. The mess is purely vegetarian with Non-veg as extras. Moreover apart from the mess there are no canteens or food joints being run by the management where students can eat or have food.

The alumni network is quite large and strong. Alums frequently visit the campus to share their experiences or to guide the current batch of students.

The exams are mainly 2, mid term and end term. However we do have a continuous evaluation structure wherein there will be regular and frequent quizzes. Some of them may be surprise quizzes as well. Frequent quizzes leaves students worn out and we have classes 6 days a week.

The faculty of our college is well equipped and trained to satisfy the thirst for knowledge of the students. They make classes interesting with their industrial illustrations as most of them have industry experience. Each faculty has a different pedagogy and is unique in his teaching approaches.
