I scored very high percentile in CAT which made me get a call from IIM Lucknow. After a stellar interview, I was finally granted admission.

The curriculum is split into compulsory subjects in first year and electives in second year and this is spread across 6 terms in total. There is a lot of emphasis on projects and continuous evaluation. Group studies are also strongly encouraged all the time.

Yes, internship in the summer is part of the curriculum and the overall experience during placements is satisfactory.

Placement opportunities are provided 3 times in the year- summer internship placements, HEPP for people with minimum work-ex and final placements. The placements in all three sets are satisfactory and bring together the entire student community to give their best.

Fest such as Manfest-Varchasva, the annual management, cultural and sports festival of IIM Lucknow, and Index the Market Research Festival take place in November. All throughout the year various events are conducted to make students familiar with various management concepts.

The fee structure is close to 14 lacs for the two years and is feasible on an average. Options for financing and loan are also available which make it easier for students to pay off the entire sum of money across the 2 years. Financing options for over and above this are also available.

Internally some scholarships are awarded. External scholarships such as Aditya Birla and Yes Bank are also available.

The Gender ratio is close to 1: 4 and engineers are more in number. The facilities for sports and extra curricular are excellent with a lot of emphasis given on committees and making students aware of all of these. Intra college competitions are also organised.

The hostels have single rooms and are well maintained. The entire campus is residential and all students are given a room each. Mess food is of good quality and 4 meals are provided each day. All in all the facilities are upto the mark. The infrastructure is also great.

The alum network is very helpful and is always eager to visit campus. The annual alum conclave will take place in December.

The exam structure focuses on continuous evaluation both in the class and outside. Quizzes, exams, class participation, presentations are all a regular feature that go on throughout the term and make the learning experience even better. The days are fairly hectic.

The faculty is brilliant and dedicatedly teaches us in the 30 hours assigned to each course. They are also available for discussion and clearing doubts after class both in their offices and over e-mail. Learning is a continuous process on campus and there is a lot of help.
