Affordable and good college in Uttarakhand

I had applied for downtown University Assam but due to the high amount of fees, I didn't attend. I don't think there are any admission criteria or age limits. The admission process was easy for me I took admission through an agent so he submitted everything that they ask and I didn't attend any counseling.

I chose this course because I was a commerce student. There is a large number of faculty for every department. In our course, 50% teacher had done Ph.D. and 50 is doing right now. Their teaching method is also easy and catchy they try to make an interactive class for those students who are just for degree only. We have sessionals, midterm final term and lots of tests in the middle also and it's not easy to pass also but not difficult if you focus in class then you can score good marks.

You will get lots and lots of internship opportunities many companies will offer you internships but due to language problems, I have done an internship through Internshala so I don't know about the stipend. I didn't apply for an internship because they were searching for Hindi-speaking students and I don't know Hindi.

You will get a chance for campus placement only after 2nd year. I had never applied for campus placement and I was not interested also because I want to do a master's also so I don't know about the companies but I have seen seniors earning a good salary through campus placement also. If you are active in class and getting good marks you will get placement easily. My plans after getting a degree are to do masters in a good college.

You will get a fees structure at the time of admission and it's affordable for everyone hostel fees is a little bit high and if you are from Uttarakhand you will get some relaxation also and toppers also get up to 80% academic relaxation. I have not applied or done interviews for any job because I want to do a master's also but You will get lots of placement and internships in the final year.

Due to the pandemic, I have not attended any college fest but there are usually lots of fest carnivals and programs in college. There is a big library on campus you can go n study or issue books any time in academic hours lots of books are available. If you are interested in sports then you can join a sports club and every Friday and Saturday there is a cca class you can join sports music or any club its so good. Every club is run by senior students under teacher guidance.

There is a lot of facilities in the hostel you can take an Ac room also if you want and the others room has fan 2 people at 1 room gym is also available lots of workers are there to clean the washroom surrounding and all. I don't really like food because I am from Sikkim so if you are from the northeast then you will not like the food the college is vegetarian so no meat is allowed on campus also from outside. Hostel fees are 78000 for 1 year for me it's quite expensive.
