Remarks

The College is a typical filmy college. Too much fun Cool place to chill out with frnds. Only highlight for the management is to organize more parties and build Alumini Network.

Entrance Preview

No entrance, just completed my ISC (class 12) and applied and got admitted.ISC 89.25%.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Curriculum is designed by University of Calcutta, Which encompasses all the important areas related to the field of commerce. This helps the student to be well versed after graduation, with all the topics and areas of work that needs to be done at a office.

Internships Opportunities

There were no internship opportunity whatsoever in our college. So, sadly have no internship experience.

Placement Experience

The placements & job opportunities doesn't seem to have wide scope, as we were not given any such opportunity. In all certainty, I don't think that the college has any such facility.

College Events

Yes, this was the best part of our college. It used to organaise a lot of festivals. The best were ENIGMA and UMANG.These two festivals were so popular that it made our the coolest in Kolkata.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship were given to Gujrati Students.

Campus Life

Campus Life - It was amazing , just like it was shown in the movies. Canteen being the best place to hangout. Gender Ratio - It was good, may be around 2:3 (Girl : Boy)Freshers Party turned out to be the coolest thing . Even the other inter college competitions,prom nights were a new experience to see.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility but the canteen is amazingly superb.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Not great. The college has no Alumini Network whatsoever.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
