Remarks
I am a student of Mbm Engineering College, Jodhpur. The admission process is based on JEE Main exam's marks. There is no age limit for taking admission in our college and the admission process is conducted by REAP.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Mechanical Engineering branch is one of the core branches. Faculties are good and well experienced. All faculties have master's degrees in their respective fields. Some faculties have PhD degrees. Our department conducts midterms exams between semesters. And the end of the semester one final exam is also be conducted.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides many internships to the students. Our college's students get internships in MNCs, national companies, Government departments like Railways, DRDO, IITs, NITs etc. Some students get internships in top MNCs.
Placement Experience
Our college also provides on campus placement to the students. The placement ratio is different for different departments. In CSE and IT, most 90 to 95% of students get placed in companies. And in other departments, the average ratio is 55 to 60%. The highest package is 22 lakh per annum. In Mining Engineering almost a 100% placement ratio.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college has two types of seats 1.Gas seat: Government aided seat fees are less in comparison to SFS seats. Fees: 30,000 per annum 2.SFS (Self funded Seat): Fees:42500 per annum. There is some scholarship provided by colleges: 1.Mukhymantri High education Scholarship 2 one more scholarship for SC/ST candidates 3.Some companies also get scholarships.
Campus Life
My campus life is good. Our college campus is good. It consists of some sports grounds like a cricket ground, a badminton court, a Tennis court etc. There is a library also in which many books are related to academics and some related to General knowledge, research papers and journals. There are both clubs in our college Technical and Non Technical. Their name is liked Surgum, Prtibimb, Debate Club, Zenith etc.
Hostel Facilities
In our college, Hostels facilities are also provided to students. Hostels are also good in our college. Some hostels in our college have their individual name and number. For first year students, 3 students per room and second and third year 2 students per room and in a final year per student per room is allowed. The wifi and Library facility is also in hostels.
