Remarks
I applied to many of the known colleges like BVM, DDU, MBIT, etc in the ACPC category and got selected in the MBIT college under the ACPC section. You are selected in this section on the basis of your board marks. For the admission process, we had a counseling session where we were told about the different streams of the college and which subjects it offers. We were notified about the future scope and the placement opportunities of the college. They gave every detail of the college that one should know in a pleasing manner. So here I'm, continuing as a part of the college for the past 3 years.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the era of emerging Computing Technology which is the basic reason why I choose to do my Bachelor's in the Computer Engineering field. In MBIT we have 3 classes for Computer field students and we have very informative and brilliant faculties. Most of our faculties are PhD and ME completed ones. They teach us in very pleasant way so we can understand the concepts easily. We have mid sem exams before the externals and they are medium difficult and not extremely hard that one could not pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee per year in our college is 71,000. One can recieve scholarship by earning good merits in the exam. The scholarship gives Maximum half of the total fees amount to the selected students. This scholarship comes every year. And with good grades in Every sem one could avail the scholarship Every year. The scholarship name is MYSY scholarship. For the last year student, our college has placement opportunities where different companies come and take the interviews of them and hire them. The package that most of the companies offer are 5-6 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
Like Every college have their own tech fest, MBIT also has their annual Techfest. Mostly it is conducted in the April-May month. It is one of the biggest Techfest that our college do. Other than that we have different clubs like IEEE, IST, Women Development Cell, Nss , etc to make students connected with other curricular activities other than studies. All these clubs are run by the students for the students.. MBIT has a big library which is a full source of knowledge. You will all the necessary books which are Required for all the sems. Other than that you will find the previous years exam papers, motivational books, newpapers, journals , etc in the library. Curricular activities like sports celebration, kite flying, youth festival, Volcano (an inter college fest), induction programs ,dance programs etc are held.
