Remarks

My admission was done based on the jee main score as well as the 12th percentage. The minimum criteria for admission were that the candidate must be jee mains qualified, and the candidate must have a 50% percentage in the 12th board examination from any recognized board and university.

I choose the computer science and engineering branch in this college because I have interested to learn computer programming and as well as it has good placement opportunities. The faculty members are very good and supportive. There is one semester exam and two midterms in each semester as well as a practical exam.

Many students got internship opportunities during their graduation. Some companies provide internships with a stipend which is BMW, TCS, Wipro and many. And the university provided free courses related to your branch from the reputed platform which is Coursera Udx, Udemy.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible to attend placements opportunities. The companies which visit this college are such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many more. The highest placement was offered to a 3rd year student in CS was about 72 lakhs per annum. The average placement is 3.5 lakhs per annum. Almost 100% placement is to each student of the CS stream.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is also provided in this college based on 12th marks. I have also got a scholarship which is a 10% relief in my tuition fee. My tuition fee is 72000 rupees per year. There is good placements opportunity in this college. There is the highest placement of 72 lakhs per annum was offered to a student of computer science and engineering branch from Giga Data centre.

Campus Life

The college campus is spread over 33 acres. It is a fully green campus. The campus consists of 4 canteens (veg & non-veg) and a restaurant, a cricket ground, a football ground. The hostels are good and mess food is so-so.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I have not applied to any other colleges. UEM is the first college where i had applied for the first and last time. I chose this college as it is the closest from my home where i did not have to live in hostel. Secondly it has decent placements.
