Entrance Preview
I gave IIT JEE exam but I was not able to crack it. And my marks were not so good that I could get a direct admission in other colleges. So at last I ended up taking admission in Indraprastha Engineering College (IPEC).
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the course curriculum is very very vast and it is very difficult for one to understand that by themselves. In my college the faculty members are very helpful and strict at the same time. They help us with the syllabus. They provide us proper notes and study material.
Internships Opportunities
Well. I don't know much about that but I don't think that they provide internship to the students. They just ask the students to look for that by themselves.
Placement Experience
Placement records are pretty good here. As per the college rules as well as the companies that come to the college for hiring the students only some students are qualified for the test and interview of the placement process. But among those who qualify the placement ratio is pretty good. Many companies regularly visit our college like Infosys , L&T , Amazon , HCl, TechMahindra ,etc.
College Events
Every department has their own individual fests in which they conduct various events based on the department cores as well as sports and fun events. Besides that the college celebrates fresher's party and the alumni meet every year. The annual college fest is held in February every year. It is the biggest event and is very cool.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided by the university itself so I don't think there is any specific scholarship facilities provided by the college separately. They might provide the education loan for the needful students from various banks.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very hectic. They conduct exams almost every month. Although these things are made for the Goodwill of the students but still so much exams leads to pressure on the students. Labs are very frequent and good infrastructure is there in the labs.
Admission
I took admission on the management system basis. I haven't appeared for the entrance exam. But there are seats reserved for direct admission basis on the basis of merit list. My marks were enough to fulfill their requirements so I took admission in that college.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified and highly experienced. They are the best possible people we could have. They are always interested in helping the students. However the college infrastructure is not that much good. It could have been better. For example, smart class or projector classes are not provided regularly. They are best way of interaction and I understanding for the students but they lack in this field.
