Know About FGIET before taking admission

I attended online counseling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University where I was expected to submit few documents online like Scanned mark sheet of class 10, class 12, Domicile certificate with table sign of District Magistrate, and a fee of 20,000 rupees which will be refunded if you won't take admission and will be deducted from your fee if you opt for admission in any college affiliated to AKTU. I filled few colleges like IET at the top priority then KNIT and after that FGIET with only Computer Science Stream. My rank in general category was around 5000 so I got FGIET in the very first round of counseling. After getting the college you have to lock the seat or float the seat that means either you have to accept the seat or float it for further rounds. After that you to visit the college with documents and fee which is 70,000 after deduction of 20,000 which you paid while counseling, documents include 10 mark sheet photocopy, 12 mark sheet photocopy, aadhaar photocopy.

Computer science offers relatively more opportunities than all other streams and the CSE department of FGIET is relatively better than all others. There are 60 students in each class with two classes for CSE that is 120 students. Most professors are just M.TECH and pursuing Ph.D. they don't teach at all, they just come and stand on platform dictating their life story or just dictating anything they want. It is very easy to clear seasonal exams here you just have to cram the notes and for the end semester, you just have to cram quantum. You didn't get marks if you study books you only get marks if you quantum.

After the 5th semester, you get placements mostly in TCS that also with ninja package of 3.36-3.6 LPA. Other companies are Wipro , Infosys many other companies even google can't find.CSE is almost 90 percent for others its very difficult to get .I will proceed ahead for PG.

Here the fee structure is Rs 90,000 per year inclusive of examination fee of Rs 8000 taken by university, library fee, students affairs fee. The hostel fee is Rs 45,000 per year. Government scholarships are available for EWS, SC, ST, OBC subject to eligibility, usually full scholarships don't come and it comes very late. Yes, you get jobs on campus in TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, IBM, BYJUS, etc with the highest lpa of 5lacs and an average of 3.5lacs.

The annual fest is just a formality namely Anushandhaan, sports fest all happen.Classrooms have too much of noise of traffic etc classes have school like martar boards .
