My Engineering Experience

I wrote EAMCET. I scored 56/120. I secured 83,221 rank. I didn't get the admission through convener quota. I got the admission through management quota. I opted for it because it has the best faculty,best infrastructure and it had better chances for students to explore themselves.

The course curriculum is very good. It helped the students to gain a lot. Yes, it is helpful in research field. With some additional technical courses provided in the college it is helpful. It helped a lot during the projects. During projects it helped us a lot. We learnt some new things with the help of our course curriculum and gave our best performance during the project time.

Companies like TCS, TRIANZ, MIND TREE, MIRACLE, FACE, POLARIS and some other came to our college. Yes my college provided internship only to some extent but upto at a great extent.

Placements and job opportunities are good but they have been somewhat better. Companies provided a package of 10,000+. on overall. College administration could have done better to provide some more placements.On a whole the placements were genuine and they could have been somewhat better and satisfactory.

Many technical,cultural and management festivals were conducted by college for every academic year. They helped the students to bring out heir interests and talents. Sports events were also conducted. Inter-departmental events also took place. This helped the students and staff to involve in a healthy rivalry which was enjoyed by everyone.

The convener quota fee is feasible. Moreover government provided students with fee reimbursement which helped some financially backward students. the convener quota fee is 39,000/- approximately per 1 academic year. The management quota fee is somewhat more. Donation amount is 2,50,000-3,00,000 which is somewhat heavy and the academic fee per 1 year is 1,05.000. This is during my time(2011-2015).

Can't say anything about the exam structure. It is neither good nor bad. Sometimes it is hectic and sometimes it's enjoyable. At certain times exams were conducted frequently. That time we felt busy and exhausted. The exam structure is somewhat complex and different. But they helped the students to know about their academic standards.

I got the admission through management quota. I was referred to get admission in this college by one of my relatives. He had good relations and well established connections with principal an other staff. He came with my parents to get admission for me. He took me to the principal and we had a talk and then i was given admission in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) stream of 2011-2015 batch.

Most of the faculty are good at their best except a few. As we know that everything in not perfect and there will be some flaws but it is not a matter of importance. During the 4 years of my engineering life I came across many faculty members and learnt a lot from them.
