Remarks
I had applied for Kristu Jayanti College, St. Xaviers Mumbai, and did not attend because of the distance and allowance from home. I did not avail any quota for admission. The admission criteria were smooth for me as I was on the top of the merit list and the faculties were very supportive and helpful, there is a minimum marks criteria for students who apply for this course 50% in your 12th board. The counseling session was good and informative and encouraging and motivating as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was inclined towards management and corporate studies and want to make a career in this field. Here the faculties are less as compared to a number of students. The faculty here are well qualified and the teaching methods are not good as they do not provide proper guidance and notes and are only theoretical knowledge. Term exams are 2 annually and the passing mark is 30% and was easy to score.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is relevant to the course. There are no internships or placements in this course and also no scholarships. The course is a good start for students who want to gain knowledge in the management field.
Campus Life
The campus life is really enjoyable and fun. Every year the university organizes food fest, annual functions of various departments, but no cafeteria as such mentioned, there's lots and lots of trees and greenery everywhere. The campus is quite lively and soothing too, locals are quite friendly.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are different according to the allotted ones as there is a dormitory where each room has 18 children and ones are there where we shared with two roommates, these rooms are allotted on the basis of merit list, I got the best hostel of Ravenshaw University. The mess food is unhealthy and unhygienic and the mess managers do not behave properly with the boarders.
