Remarks

At first, i was very hesitant about the college but after taking admission the experience was beautiful. Admission was taken on basis of the 12th percentage and merit list. I had applied for a BA course and the faculty of BA was very experienced, almost every professor had the experience of more than 10+ years. On the orientation day( counseling) we were informed about the rules and regulations and their expectations from us as well as guided us how the whole academic year is planned.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The exams we held semester-wise mostly in the months of November and April respectively. And if we consider the toughness of the exam then it mostly depends on the lecture we have attended. If you have attended the lectures then you could easily write your exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

I haven't applied for an internship or any placements But i have heard that Cipla had given some internships for the Cipla archive to students from history backgrounds.

Placement Experience

3.5

For the placement, you are eligible after giving the exam of semester 6 or some months before exams. The different company comes for each department and you could apply for any company depending on Their given criteria. I don't have an exact idea about the percentages of people getting placements and about the package it depends on the degree and interview. I have completed my degree this year and i have planned to give CSE.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't apply for any jobs or scholarships. I had another plan after college so i never applied for placements. Whereas many of my friends did apply for it and have taken jobs, internships from various companies.

Campus Life

5

We have the annual fest "Mosaic". And many other fests organized by different departments. Mostly this fest is conducted before exams (Sept). The library has a vast collection of different books where you can use it for reference or borrow for that you just need a library card. A social group such as NSS, DLLE, inter-religious, entrepreneur- cell are there in college. There were many students who have played football basketball as well cricket at the district level and every year we have sports day where all students from college can participate in different sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
