Internship Information

The admission process consisted of a written exam then PI. Overal, the admission process was done within a day only. Document verification was done the same day. The minimum marks to avail for my course was to score 75% in college entrance exam then training department of the college took my personal interview. Within 30mints, I got info that I was selected then I went for the document verification process. Documents required were-10th Certificate, 12th Certificate, Character certificate, Transfer Certificate, Address Proof, Identity Proof. My father's identity proof was also asked with his signature in all the documents. Then we went for hostel allocation. We looked for the hostel room after all inspection we went for hostel room booking also. After getting satisfaction from all angles, we went for final fee submission. Fee was submitted then went to have some snacks in my college canteen, canteen was superb, food was superb and also the service mind-blowing. Fully satisfied with the college.

Faculty members of this is so helpful. Help in each and every difficulty. Teaching method is also very good. They also provide us notes which help in our external exams. College regularly takes Assignment, Class Test and Pre-University exam which are calculated in our internals and rest is dependent on us how we perform in our external exams. There is as such no difficulty in passing the exams because they decide a finite syllabus for internal exams and ques comes from them only. Before our externals, we have to sit for our Pre-University exams also which contributes the most in our internals and full syllabus is covered in Pre-University exams. After every 1-2 months we have our internal exams which gets calculated in our internal score. Practicals are also done under guidance of our teachers and lab assistant that also contribute in our internal practical records . We have to maintain our practical record notebooks along with accurate readings and get it verified with our lab teacher

Many students are working as interns in several companies getting very good stipend. Goldman Sachs also provided internships to some of our students at a stipend of 22 Lacs. Then also some students got internships in Red Hat and several other companies also.

From 5th semester only the students are eligible for placement in our college. Companies that visit our campus are Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Ericsson, Unthinkable, Red Hat, Think & Learn etc. The package starts from 3.6LPA goes to 29LPA. They make each n every student sit in placement opportunity and try hard so that each n every students walk out from campus with a job in his/her hand. We all the students of final year are currently sitting for various companies for different roles. My plans after getting degree is to work in a prestigious company with a satisfying package. We all our trying our best to get placed in a prestigious company.

Regarding scholarship, a very good scholarship is provided to students who belong under the Economically weak section. The scholarship form is released once in a year which the student has to submit along with its family total income certificate and other required documents. After processing, the scholarship is provided to eligible students to fulfill all the criteria. Regarding placement I am in final year right now sitting for placement in different companies. But talking about our seniors, they got placement in so many prestigious companies' package starting from 3.6LPA to 29LPA. We are provided training for companies from college only, the training department of the college deals with it. About the companies, we get info from our job inbox in our college portal simply have to apply for it and rest of the procedure college takes care of it. Very satisfied with the training and placement department of my college, looking forward for more opportunities in many more companies to enhance myself

There are so many clubs and societies running I the college. The most prestigious are IEEE Student Chapter PSIT, Toastmasters, etc. I have been a part of IEEE Student Chapter during my 2nd and 3rd year. Talking about clubs in our colleges, there are cultural clubs in our college, science club, robotics club, mechanical engineering club, coding club, sports club which have events all round the year and we all participate in that with full enthusiasm and zeal. Even PSIT has an NGO run for students whose parents can't afford education for them. The students of PSIT teach them after college hours. We also participate in Zonal Level Fest be it technical, sports or cultural always come home with a trophy. During college fest also, all the clubs and society have their respective events we participate in it, enjoy them, win prizes, learn new things, create n implement the ideas, dance, act and sing with cultural team, perform in sports and develop new ideas in science events. Hostel experience is overall a good experience. We always wait when our hostels are opening, reunite with our friends have all the fun n joy with them. Food quality is also superb no complaints. We have got free laundry service, then a maid for cleaning our room and washrooms of the hostel. Hostel charges for a year are 76000 for Non-AC room and 90000 for AC rooms. For Hostel allotment we are provided rooms of our choice from 2nd year but in 1st year it is allotted by the college itself. The fee is also submitted online on their payment gateway. The food menu also changes once in a month, we get different food every month provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We live 2 people in one room, provided with free wi-fi for study purpose and also library facilities for us every day. We have our breakfast starting from 7:30AM- 8:45 AM then lunch from 12:30 PM-1:25PM and dinner from 7:30 PM-9PM. Then, we are also provided with health facilities which is open 24/7 present in college campus only for us.
