Course Curriculum Overview
The course was B.Com (Hons). They had great emphasis on economics. It was a very pleasurable and knowledgeable experience. The faculty was well versed and the course material were up to date. It really helped me in understanding the current economic scenario and accounting principles.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was expensive at that time compared to other colleges. The initial admission fees was Rs 25,000. With quarterly fees of Rs 9000. Overall it is an expensive college with all other extra curricular also being charged at hefty rates.But the services provided was comparable with the fees charged.
Campus Life
We had more females than males. Ratio was 2:1 females vis-a-vis male. The extracurricular facilities of our college was top notch. We had most advanced sports facilities with the team qualifying for national level in cricket as well as basketball. There were also debate facilities and other dramatics.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong and growing by the day. They can be helpful. People from all walks of life are now a part of the ever growing Alumni network.
Exam Structure
Exams were held every quarterly. We had general,Part I, Part II examination structure over the 3 year course. In college exams were quarterly with very cool atmosphere. No pressure as such. The main exams we had been allotted centres and had to go there for the exams.
Admission
Forms were available in hard copy at that time from the college campus. We had to fill with our ISC marks. They come up with a cut-off and then put the list accordingly. A second list is also put up as per availability of seats. Overall a very smooth and transparent selection process without any difficulties.
Faculty
The faculty were top notch. Coming from different streams the best was selected for Hons courses. They were young as well as experienced and very co operative. Their level of knowledge of their respective stream was commendable.Overall a very nice experience with the best faculty.
