Remarks

I applied for this college because my brother also studies here. To be eligible to apply for the course a minimum score of 40% is required in class 12th with accounts as one of the subject. I applied for my course through online mode. The application fees I was charged was Rs 250.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of three years divided in six semesters. The course curriculum trains the students in the field of management and makes them industry ready. The faculty here is very cooperative and experienced. Their mentor of teaching is very good because of which were are able to understand things in depth. The exams of the college are easy to pass.

Placement Experience

The companies that visited the campus for placement are GS, Deloitte, Johnson& Johnson, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Highest salary package offered to students was Rs 6LPA and the average salary package offered by companies was Rs 4LPA. About 85% of the students get placed. I am planning to join my family business after completing my degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of the program is affordable the fees for the program reaches to Rs 4LPA. The college offers scholarship to students under different government and non government schemes like Kristu Jayanti Scholarship Policy, Government Scholarship,etc.

Campus Life

I did not get an opportunity to visit the campus but got to know about the college by my brother and some seniors. The library that is the heart of the college is equipped with over one Lakh books, journals, periodicals, project reports,etc. There are various clubs like Film Club, Photography club, Tourism club, Theatre club, Kannada club, Investors club, Commerce club, Management Association, etc. The college provided sports facilities for Cricket, football, throwball, table tennis, basketball,etc.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
