Mohammed Zakir Ahmed's Review On Muffakham Jah College Of Engineering & Technology - [MJCET], Hyderabad

I made it through EAMCET, and my score was around 65 marks which gave me 28000 rank in the state. It was my passion since my childhood to be a professional engineer, and I myself was very much attracted towards civil engineering.

It was good.The exposure to various subjects related to the course was good. The college followed a regulated curriculum every semester. The examination pattern was good too. Overall experience with the college and it's staff was satisfying. There was much more on the research side but that was ones own interest to go for it or not.

I don't know whether my college provide any stipend or not. As far as I'm concerned it didn't provide any.

The placement at my college is very good compared to most of the colleges in the city. Around 400-500 students are being selected every year in different placement oriented programs. Most of the IT tech companies like infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, capgemini etc, recruit students from our college.

There were many technical and cultural events at our college. There was a student wing with every department which used to conduct several technical events. We used to have a mega event every year in February which was called as adsophes, many events used to be held during this feast.

There were a lot of extracurricular activities held at the college. Many competitions were also held regarding those activities. Sports events were are also held at the college. Students used to attend those events and win awards at several events.

The exam structure was defined by the university and college followed that without any hassles. Tests were conducted every week and there used to be in term exams every 2 months. There used to be a lab practical too every 2 weeks. Overall experience was good regarding the exam.

After qualifying the entrance exam, I got the admission in the college, there was counselling and other processes. There was a process of giving our options for course selection in different colleges and I gave first preference to this college. It was a happy moment for me when I came to know that I got a seat in this college.

The faculty at the college was well qualified and high experienced. Most of the faculty members were polite in their manner and very enthusiastic coming to their course subject. It was very easy to get access to the faculty. There was also a window to complaint about any of the faculty if not responding in right way, which I guess was not needed.
