Remarks
I applied for NIET because of the past placements record. I was from the general category, and the criteria for admission were totally percentage-based (class x and xii). There's is no donation or hidden fees. The admission process was smooth, staff was very helpful
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well designed with hands-on practices. The student-faculty ratio is good here and the faculties are experts in their domain. Most of the faculties are either PhD or PhD enrolled. The exams are conducted on regular basis along with assignments and class activities.
Internships Opportunities
The internship and projects are very much supported by the college. Interested students are allowed to do the training wherever they want from. The students are motivated to participate in the projects and training programs.
Placement Experience
the placements offered by the college are awesome. Several big companies such as IBM, Capgemini, Fiserv, TCS, NIIT Technologies, Virtusa, amazon, and many more come to the campus for placements every year. The highest package was around 30lacs for my batch and average was around 10 lacs. Almost 100% placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are around 1.5lacs for the first year and approx 1.2 lacs from the second year onwards. There is no scholarship or financial support. However, there are several certification courses provided by the college for free that would otherwise cost thousands.
Campus Life
College life is disciplined. Several events (technical and cultural) are organized throughout the year. They are departmental libraries dedicated to each and every department along with a central library that consists of books for all the courses. The classrooms have projectors and the teachers use ppt for better explanation.
