Remarks
Direct admission is there if you are eligible as per university norms. 45% marks are the minimum criteria to take admission in b.tech courses. You can directly come to the niet with your 10th and 12 mark sheets and apply for admission. Not at this pandemic for admission, you can also apply online.
Course Curriculum Overview
Today is the world are equipped with electronics. Mobile, tv, internet, music, are all due to electronics only. That's why I chose ece. There are a 1:20 faculty and student ratio. Faculty are highly qualified. They all are b.tech+m.tech and professors are PhD too.
Internships Opportunities
All the students are doing internships after even a semester through niet. The internship is inhouse as well as in companies. Some companies are hiring too if students have done good projects during the internship. Projects are very relevant concerning social needs.
Placement Experience
Best placement in Delhi NCR. From 1st year onward niet is focussed on placement. As of now, it is an autonomous institute that's why the complete syllabus is designed as per industry scenario. Students are getting the opportunity for placement in 7 semesters. But training and oth pfs activity are started from 1st year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are nominal compare to other institutes. 153450 rs. Are b.tech first year fee. And near 90k to 1lac for hostel fee. The library has more than 1 lac books. For toppers niet provide scholarships each year on the founders day.
Campus Life
There are two fests. One in the odd semester and another in the even semester. In this fest sports and tech, both activities are involved. The library is very strong. More than I lac books. And 100s of journals are available. There is a dean student welfare department for organizing extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
There are total of six hostels. 2 in plot no. 14 (first year campus) and 4 (2 girls hostel and 2 boys hostel) in plot no. 19 (main campus). Hostel charges are nominal compare to nearby hostels and pgs. Food quality is very good. Hostel registration is very easy.
