My admission process was done at vijayawada admission office. Before I visited Chennai's Amirta campus Balkampet. I want to become a chef and I found kitchen labs fully equipped and huge that y I join this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course bcoz my aim is to work as a chef in star hotels and at the same time complete my graduation In BHMCT. We have many faculty here so we have effective classes every day. Faculty here are well experienced and possess good knowledge. Exams are easy I believe.
Internships Opportunities
After completing the 4th semester we will go for an internship in a 4 or 5 star hotel. I want to do my internship in Goa. Many of my seniors are doing their training in Taj, Falaknuma Palace Hyderabad. I want to do training in the kitchen. I want to become a Chef one day.
Placement Experience
My seniors told me that the campus provides 100% placement if students academics are good. After completing 3 years I can sit for placement. Big brands like Taj, Marriots, Oberai's, Hyatt visit our college to select students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 72000 per year. I can pay in 3 terms. Here we are getting part time jobs also in branded fast food restaurants. Scholarships scheme for deserving students. I want to achieve 90% marks and 100% attendance to gain a scholarship.
Campus Life
Unit tests are conducted every month. During free periods we go to the library room to do our assignments and reading books. The classroom is having AC and this is very relaxing. We play indoor games when we visited the college for 1 month.
Interview Experience
Yes, when I visited campus one faculty talk to me about my interest and I was asked to write a small test. Sir, advised me about the working atmosphere in the hotel industry. I did not prepare for anything but I showed my interest and they accepted my application.
