The candidate is allotted branches based on their merit through counselling conducted by UPTU. For 15% seat candidates can apply for direct admission to the NIET. Niet has come up with Pyramid finishing school. The student is assessed with various skills and particular training.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty student ratio is 20 is to 1. Most of the faculty are either Phds or pursuing PhDs.others are M.tech with specialization. The teaching method is pedagogy based and industry based. The exams are semester based and periodic tests are also conducted. Teachers are approachable to solve the student problem always.
Internships Opportunities
The classroom are well equipped with CCTV, Projectors and has Dedicated labs for various optional certification like Microsoft, VM ware, Cisco, Internet of things, Robotic process Automation, salesforce etc. Computer labs with more than 2500 computers to ensure hassle free online process.
Placement Experience
The placement department is Excellent. Placement cell put their efforts to place every student with good companies. Semester 6 students become eligible for the recruitment drive. there are many top companies like TCS, Capgemini, HCL, Virtusa, Accenture etc. The number of offers I think 900 and above. The highest package is 25 lacks and the lowest is 3 lacs. I think approx 90% of students got placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a student, I think the hike in fee is 10%. The student got a scholarship from up govt including less income. Yes, I got the offer from one prestigious company that gives me a stipend for the training period. Management provides weaker student fee discounts and Medical facilities.
Campus Life
The student has a student welfare committee, headed by Dean, student welfare, which provides a platform through which student can voice their opinion, suggestion, complaints and demands for their institute betterment. sports club, cultural club, Dance club, music club and theatre club.
