Review about Arya

Arya College is one of the most amazing colleges that I've ever seen. I applied for manual colleges but then it was very difficult to get into other colleges whereas it was very easy to get into Arya, we had just to pass out 12th board exams with PCM with 75%. Admission was very easy here and marks and criteria also are not that high which means many of us can get in easily. The process of admission is also quite easy nor very expensive. Overall it's amazing. One can also get admission through REAP. REAP code is 14.

Electrical Engineering at Arya College is in my opinion the most diverse course with a curriculum greatly overlapping with computer science and also provides a lot of mathematical courses. Highly qualified faculty which can provide remarkable research exposure at an undergraduate level is another positive. Meticulously designed courses and evaluations focus more on the application side and problem solving which I personally like.

Well, there are no restrictions from Aryas side in your interest to do an internship. However, they suggest that you undergo an internship preferably after the 3rd Sem. Many of the companies that come for placements also come for offering internships and many of the students get pre-placement offers after their internship periods. The internship stipends are quite high and many time is close to the stipends offered to a full-time employee.

Being the number one institute in Rajasthan, a huge number of companies come for placements every year. Being greatly accessible by being in the heart of the city Jaipur, travel and reach never hinder any company to not come here. There are several companies that visit only Arya college in India for recruitment. In recent times many, US-based and European companies have recruited students in high numbers from the college. About 90% of the student who applies for a job get placed in some of the other company. I too got a job from the institute placements. With packages ranging to over a crore every year, the average salary offered is about 5-7 lacs per annum.

The fees structure is affordable even for middle class families,i.e., Rs 2.20 lakhs for four year program. There are good scholarship opportunities if one is serious enough and passionate. The college also provides bank loan help for the students who don't have enough backing to study in a reputed private college. Reserved categories of course benefit here as well apart from getting a seat, they get a full tuition fee exemption. The institute, of course, helps the families in need and with income less than a certain limit, so that is a relief. There is a regular seminar for the students and internship opportunities now and then

The institute has numerous clubs and festivals for social interaction and development. The Arya Group of Colleges celebrates its most awaited 3 days National Level, Technical Symposium cum Fest “Shraddhanjali” which is celebrated with great pomp and show every year and provides a National Platform to the students from all over the country to showcase their talent. The Power club by ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT is for the people who have an unquenchable thirst to be different. Technical and informal events throughout the year are conducted - be it Contraptions, which involve the application of engineering concepts of several streams or, LIVE QuizUp or even sports events like kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, cricket etc.To enhance sports consciousness amongst students, Arya creates the maximum possible facilities to promote the spirit of sportsmanship. The Annual Sports Meet comprising of events like Football, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess and Cricket is organised in the college.

Hostels are pretty small and old. Many of them are in dire need of repair and renovation. The institute is trying hard to maintain them and make use of the space available for new construction, but I think it will take time. But I would say it is not that bad and students get used to it. In fact, hostel memories are greatly cherished by everyone for their entire life. The food is good and edible not like the ones shown in typical movie hostels. The prejudice I had before having a meal at my hostel was nowhere justified and I was happy.
