Admissions can be taken by direct as well as by UPTU entrance exams. Admission criteria are students must be qualified for the 12th board exams and there are no year gap criteria, the minimum age must be 16.
Course Curriculum Overview
IT as a profession is one of the best course these days because everything is moving to digital world and there is huge scope of the IT industry onwards. There are well qualified faculties in NIET and their teaching method is based on the individual . However , there are course outcome and program outcome available for the teachers to follow. There are two sessional exams in the whole semester and weekly tests by the faculty and the final semester exam which is not quite difficult if anyone pays attention throughout the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offers internship roles for the students with the stipend like Wiley-mthree, HCL Technologies,many more and some company offers probation period for some months or year at the time of placements after that fixed roles so it depends on the company itself.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. Companies visited in Niet are Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Hexaware, VMWare, Delloite, Amazon-30lpa, UHG and many more with packages varying from 3.5 to 9lpa. The highest package of Niet is 30lpa and the average package is 4.5lpa. Approx 80% students get placed [2021 passout batch]
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 132000 every year [2017-2021 batch] There is one UP Scholarship that is available for the students every year who are eligible they can fill that. Many companies hired students from NIET like Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, HCL Technologies and many more.
Campus Life
There are only technical and sports fest available in NIET. There are multiple clubs for music, dance, drama, environment protection and many more. Books are available in the library. The classroom contains Fans, Bench and desks, Projector, WhiteBoard, GreenBoard, etc.
