I undertook the UPSEE entrance examination by UPTU. The exam is based on the syllabus of class 12th. The exam did not have any negative markings.

The course structure followed is as notified by the the Uttar Pradesh Technical University ( now A P J Abdul Kalam Tech Univ) .I was a student of computer science engineering and the curriculum consisted of all the major topics of the field. curriculum consisted of a minor project in third year, a summer internship and a major project.

No, There is no internship program in this college. However there is an entrepreneurship development cell and an incubation centre which provides capital investment if you have a startup idea. You will also be given office space in the campus and the required infrastructure.

Well, I got placed at three companies during my final year. But this hugely depends on the branch you are in. TCS is a major recruited along with companies like Sopra Steria, Headstrong,Hyundai, among other majors. For 'core' engineering branches there isn't much of scope for in campus placement

No fancy band or celebrities called here. Annual fest consists of some basic sporting activities and technical events. Cultural events are a big zero. The emphasis is high on education and rote learning at the cost of extra curricular activities.

The fee is expensive as in all private engineering colleges. When i joined the fee was 84 k per annum and the first year fee was 1.04 lacs. A security deposit of 10 is said to be refunded but only about 5k is refunded that too a year after passing out. The fee is increased for new admission by nearly 10% each year.

The college provides cash award of 10,000 to the topper of each branch. Apart from that education load can be availed from any bank. Apart from that there are no Scholarship from the end of college.

The campus life is pretty boring with very few events. The gender ratio is biased towards boys in core branches and equal in CSE and IT branches. Labs are pretty well equipped with good machines. Robotics events do take place and they are fun but that's only once a year affair.Sports is bare minimum.

Seniors are always helpful. Alumni meets take place every year and there is an alumni network but I have not been very active on it so cannot say much about it.

There are three 'sessional' exams that take place in an semester and a end semester exam conducted by the university. The two best marks out of the three sessional exam are considered and sent to university. Along with theory internal practical and external practical exams are also conducted.

I attended the second counselling. The counselling is now online. First document verification needs to be done at any affiliated college, then One needs to fill up his choice of college and course in their order of preference. Then on a scheduled date the result of the counselling is announced and allotment letter is given to the student.

The faculty were very dedicated and punctual. Never in four years of my engineering was there an instance when a lecture started late . Faculty also provide notes which are sufficient to clear the exam with goods marks. However not all faculty are at par with the content of the subject. While some are amazing some are just doing their jobs.
