Only BITS: Through exams, minimum marks vary every year and there is an upper age limit of 21. Need to write BITSAT exam and based on the marks you get admitted to different streams which are available.
Course Curriculum Overview
1:10/15 All of them are Ph.D. graduates and many of them have Post Doctorate as well and years of experience, each individual has a different teaching method. Exams are easy to pass and expect a test every 2 weeks.
Internships Opportunities
Every person in the college will get an Internship and there are over 400 companies that offer internships for students and the stipend varies from 25000-12000/month. We get an internship in our final year with a program known as Practice School(PS). I have not done any projects, as it was optional.
Placement Experience
From the last 2 semesters, and you get to choose only one semester in which you want to give the placements Nothing of I am aware of. The highest package is around 60LPA offered by Uber, and IT placements average package is around 18-20LPA. But for the core branches, the average is 8-10LPA. Around 85+% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee hikes occur every year, a hike of 15% every year. College offers Merit cum Need a scholarship for students with lower parental income and Student aid funds for students in need of any emergency or family issues.
Campus Life
There are 4 fests every year and 3 major fests, where we get holidays for those fests, ATMOS(technical fest) in the month of October, ARENA(sports fest) in the month of January, PEARL(cultural fest) in the month of March, Verba Maximums(Literature fest) in the month of January. The library is well equipped with all the required study material for the courses and other books as well Lecture halls have centralized AC and projectors Sports facilities open at 4 PM and are till 12AM, and anyone can utilize any of the facilities. There are many facilities, like departments of sponsorship, marketing, etc.
Hostel Facilities
A chair, Table, Fan, and cupboard. Meal quality is quite good for the price paid for the mess. The registration process is within the fee and it's very affordable for a single room. Everyone is supposed to stay in the hostel provided by the college.
