Remarks
I got the seat through the UPTU entrance exam. There were no other criteria other than qualifying for the exam. The admission process was a little tiring. I had to wait in the reception area with the other students for my name to be called by the accounts department. The documentation was done on the very same day and it took me one whole day.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for electronics and communication engineering. The course was quite comprehensive and widely covered the major areas of the field. Most of the faculty were highly qualified and the teaching methods were innovative and refined. The quarterly and semester exams were conducted on regular basis and were of medium difficulty level.
Placement Experience
There were a few companies that came for placements in the college. Some of them were TechieNest Pvt. Ltd., Byju's, TCS. The highest package offered was 5 LPA. Approximately 60% of students got placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are fee waiver seats for economically weaker sections. Otherwise, the fees afre around 1 lakh per year. Also, there are several academic-based scholarship programs that students can apply for. I got a college placement in a company based in Jaipur.
Campus Life
The annual college fest is Utkarsh. There were several department events too. The annual fest would include technical and sports events too. There are student councils that are constantly involved in organizing and participating in the inter and intra college events.
