1- I applied to BITS PILANI HYD campus. I chose NIT W over BITS pilani Hyd campus because of NITW's reputation. 2- I didn't apply for any quota 3- Minimum Marks vary from year to year depending upon JOSAA Counselling
Course Curriculum Overview
This was the best course I was offered in this college Faculty : Student Ratio = 1:100 Most of the faculties have completed their masters from reputed colleges and few have even Completed their PhDs In 1 sem We have 2 minor exams (10 marks), one mid-term exam and one end-term exam. And were of moderate difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
I received an intern from ADITYA BIRLA GROUP. A lot of companies come for interns for circuit branches. not so many for core branches. Companies like Microsoft, uber, and apple also visit the campus.
Placement Experience
Students are elegible for interns from semester 6, post which they are eligible for PPOs Placements start in August in sem 7 The highest package is over 40 Lakh pa. Around 140 companies visit for campus placements. And about 90% of the people get placed. I plan on working after the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees have to be paid at the beginning of every semester which includes Tuition Fees and Hostel fees. The scholarship is provided on the basis of academic performance. The Intern I was offered was at Aditya Birla Campus with a stipend of 10k pm The job I was offered was at College Dunia with a CTC of 9 Lakh pa
Campus Life
Anual Tech fest - Technozion Annual Cultural Fest - Springs Spree The library is huge. Multiple copies of books are available and accessible to the digital library as well The classroom had a proper Seating arrangement and laboratories with a proper working system. Projectors etc were also present. Amazing opportunities for sports like football cricket basketball where there are both inter and intra college. Clubs like Debating, robotics, dance, music, Business clubs are there.
Hostel Facilities
Basic amenities like power, fans cupboards were present. bed and table chair with LAN connection. The meals were okayish. And we had a recurring menu of 7 days. Hostels are really affordable and we usually have to book through the college website.
