Remarks
I have applied for Xavier's and Goenka but due to the enormous demand of cut off marks I opted for Bhawanipur college Many people consider it as a place of just hoping around and doing nothing but practically speaking it is not as such This college provides many extra curricular activities along with studies with high degree of professionalism of Teachers in their respective fields. Moreover, there is also a scholarship scheme in this college to reward the meritious students... the criteria for such is as follows: For State board - above 85% in 12th. For Icse / Isc / CBSE boards- above 90% in 12th. The students have to pay just the first semester whole fees which are near around 25000 and they will be awarded a subsidised amount for all the respective semesters which is almost 25% of the whole fees. And also the first semester whole fees will be refunded back to the students after the first year. Really I feel graced to be a part of this college with such ease in an online education class and all formalities.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is always a gap of 6 months between the two term exams but this year due to COVID it was very fluctuating. But the college is trying well to recover itself to 6 months interval period. In my side it was sometimes 4 sometimes 5 months but it won't happen so for now onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have been awarded a Meritious scholarship for getting above 90% in state board exams. And subsidised amount of fees of the whole. Semester apart from the first semester. In short words, I can say that the 3 years fees of this college of BCom honours are around 1.5 lakh but due to scholarship, it falls to just near about 40000 for 3 years. There is a placement cell in the college that provides you with the opportunity for introducing yourself to companies I am a first year student and so I have not applied for any such jobs.
Campus Life
There is a lot of collectives operating almost every day in the college. Let me give you some instances about it. NSS collective group for social help. Business related collective for business related ideas. Entrepreneurship related collective Dancing, singing, arts etc all kinds of collective groups where students and teachers cooperate and make it worth interesting.
