MBA at SMVDU

The admission process starts with the application on the website of the university and after that selected candidates will get the call by the university.

My reason for opting MBA program was that it is a degree that provides me with professional skills and secures a decent paying job. There are 8 professors and assistant professors over a batch of 60 students. The faculty is well qualified and disciplined. they hold degrees from top institutes of the country. University conducts exams timely and the course is going on as per the schedule.

Yes, the university has multiple tie ups with companies like icici, axis, hdfc for internships and a majority of the students get selected for internships. some times stipends are also provided. But this year most of the internships were focused on online mode.

As soon as the 3rd semester begins students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies of the state some banks like axis bank HSBC bank jk bank. Companies like bus, Vedantu, sepcon visit for campus placement. Min 5 to 7 lake per anum is the average package. Nearly 60 to 65% of students get hired during campus placements.

The fee structure of the university is quite high as compared to all other universities of the state but is quite genuine as per the facilities provided. Yes, there are some scholarships and financial assistance but are frequently grabbed by the top rankers in Cat/Mat exams.

Yes, the university conducts an annual fest every year but unluckily this year there was no cultural or annual fest was organised just because of covid-19. Also same with sports due to online classes campus was closed so no sports activity was organised. Yes, social groups are also run by students in the university.

This year due to covid-19 no group discussion was conducted as the lockdown was going on. But a small personal interview session was conducted on a phone call. Where I was asked some basic questions related to my reason for opting MBA and some other general skill related questions.
