SMVDU Review regarding MBA

I applied for the Central University of Jammu earlier but didn't get admission here due to not getting good marks in their entrance test. I haven't availed any quota for taking admission. For taking admission to SMVDU, one needs to behave 50% marks in their graduation and also need to appear either in CAT/MAT/CMAT.

I opted for this course to look up to my family business spread by my father in Jammu. There were 10 teachers and 55 students in my batch. The teachers in SMVDU are highly qualified and holds degrees like Phd, M.Phil, MBA, Gold medalist in the management field and also look up to the problems and matters of the students personally and do their best to solve their issues. The term exams conduct immediately after the completion of the syllabus.

ICICI, AXIS BANK, YES BANK, SHRIRAM, etc. are the companies which visit the campus and provide internship opportuinities to the students after selecting the eligible and talented candidates who fits in the job of an intern. And also provides them an average stipend of rs.6000-1000 depends upon the performance of the Intern.

In the ending of the 2nd-semester exams, students become eligible for the campus placements and ICICI, AXIS BANK, YES BANK, SHRIRAM, etc. are the companies which visits the college campus and give job opportuinites to the students and also offers an average salary of5lakh-7 lakh. 55% of students get the college placements from the university placement cell.

The fee structure in SMVDU is not so much nominal at all a person from the economically weaker section can't bear all the expenses of SMVDU as it's a private university so it charges more than the other colleges in Jammu. They don't provide any kind of scholarship unless to the students who got more than 80 percentile in the CAT/MAT/CMAT.

Every year SMVDU organizes two annual cultural fests in the university campus known as "Tatva & Titiksha" for which the students eagerly wait for and take participate in it with full of high energy. There is a shortage of books and journals in the library during exam days. The classroom has all the needed amenities available. SMVDU also conducts a sports fest every year in which the students from the different colleges and across India come and take participate. Vikalp is the only social group run by the students in the college campus.

The rooms in the hostel are neat and clean and have beds and almirahs installed in the rooms and have air conditioners installed in them. A gym facility is also available for the boys and girls. The food of mess is just average, not much good not much bad. And taking up the hostel facility is compulsory for every student who takes admission in SMVDU.

In my GD they asked me questions regarding the topic "Will automation and artificial intelligence reduce or increase jobs" where they ask me about my views on this and carried a good debate on the topic and after this, they selected me for the PI round and after passing out these two rounds they sent me an offer letter for taking admission here.
