Remarks

I got to know about this college through my friend. Then I searched in Google for the college, there I found Quantum University is Uttrakhand's best college. Then I contacted the college authority and booked my seat with 25k. After 1 month I went college for further admission and registration process. The management of the admission department was really good. I submitted my documents regarding the 10+2 certificate + marksheet+admit card, Birth Certificate, Anti-ragging form, Medical Certificate. Students having at least 50% marks in H.S. are eligible for admission. Students having above 75% marks in H.S. will get a one-time scholarship worth rs. 8000 and for 90% will get rs.12000.(one time only, students can get the scholarship in first year) After finishing the admission process university conducted an orientation program for one week and the classes was started.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this course cause I want to become an AFO. In my state there was no such good private college that's why I took admission in Quantum University. Faculties are so good and highly educated. There is 30-40 Faculties in agriculture department. If students have doubt they cleared it. Students can visit their cabin in any time for clearing their doubts. Accomodation of classes are so good. Their are well equipped laboratories, well managed agricultural crop fields, agri equipments. Students have to give 3 exams per semester- 2 internals and 1 final exam. No cheating is allowed. If studens get caught while cheating their paper will be cancelled. They have to give the exam again in next year. Question pattern is quite difficult. If students study well they can pass no doubt.

Placement Experience

4

From 7th semester ( 4year program), 5th semester ( 3 year program) 3rd semester ( diploma) students are eligible for campus placement. There are several companies visited like Patanjali, Syngenta, Iffco, Dabur, Baer, etc. You can easily get 2.7 L.PA to 12.8 L.PA. Around 80% of students get placed. After completing the degree I will go for agriculture food officer.

Fees and Financial Aid

For BSc agriculture fees structure is following 1) Academic fees- 6800( 1st year) 71000 ( remaining) Note: If fees is paid before mentioned date students will get a rebate worth of rs 1500 2) Hostel fees- 72000 including mess food Note: Rs 2000 will increase per year 3) Rs 3000 (academic fees) is less for UK domicile Once fees get paid it will be updated in the student's ERP. Students have to collect receipts after payment of fees. Payment Methods: Bank transfer, NEFT, Google pay, Cash 4) various companies are coming nowadays for placement. Students have opportunities to be placed in a good company with a salary package of 4-12lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is so so good. there are so many activities which students can do in the campus. There are so many clubs in college in which students can join. For example, cultural club (singing, dancing, theater), sports club (football, cricket, kabaddi, badminton, rock climbing, volley ball, basketball, indoor games like table tennis, chess) Social work, start-up and innovation, CRC, Quills club( for calligraphy, arts and crafts, poetry, Shayari), photography club. Placement Experience:

The college has consistent placement record , reflecting strong academic, industrial training exposure. The placement cell also provide guidance for further and better opportunities, I guess there is no college which give direct placement for agriculture, yes we get to collaborate with many good training institutes and as far as i have seen majority of students go for Maters for the same course. In courses like AME, BHM, BCA & IT the college has significantlly good score, pharmacy department also has good no. of placements in MAX, Apollo, Cipla, Zydus lie companies.
