MCA department internal entrance test.I choose this college because i wanted to study MCA and it is one of the premier college in entire North East.I got passed ot BCA so I choose to study MCA and after i ceared my entrance i got my chance.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is not up to date.many courses are outdated but some of the faculties took the initiative in our time to make them up to date.being a alumni i can say that in our time the course curriculum would get 5 out of 10 but now hope that ,that marks hopefully increased.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they do provide internship.Also they offers good packages during the internship.but students have to be really bright and should have a good academic records.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are not remarkable. They do arrange some of the placements recruitments but seeing the number of employees thats not enough what i feel. Also the all recruitment arrange by the recruitment cell only and very few faculties took part in that process in our time which is really horrible.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college the fee structure is really very feasible. The Academic fee structure varies department to department but one can say that it is not much differences there. It varies from minimum 2000 to 5000 per semester. The hostel fees also feasible and marginable. There are 8 hostel in total and it varies from maximum 1000 to 2000 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students can earn good amount of money by taking the facilities of various scholarship. The loan facility is also very good.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network and network for senior students is not so good. There were lack of facilities regarding this in our time.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is really good. All departments have semester system and the exam is basically happens on December and June. The exam pattern is simple and as usual 3 hours pattern but the guard of the exams is really strict. The maximum marks 100 and pass mark is 30.
Faculty
The faculty members were not up to date during our time.many faculties are outdated but some of the faculties were really hard working and good.being a alumni i can say that in our time the faculty members would get 5 out of 10 but now hope that ,that marks hopefully increased.
