Entrance Preview
I gave JEE 2016 but i wasn't eligible for IIT JEE paper. Also i gave UPSEE 2016 and scored a rank of 12000 other than that i gave SRMJEE 2016 and scored a rank of 6800. and finally i gave IPUCET 2016 and i scored a rank of 6400 which was pretty nice as i expected. IPU has its colleges located in delhi and i always wanted to study in delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is actually pretty exciting, it covers everything from workshop labs to communication skills. and talking about research i would say it is the best institute in delhi after DTU and IITD obviously. the professors are great. Even our Principal sir are ex faculty of DTU which is obviously a prestige college of the capital of the nation.
Placement Experience
Placements here are pretty satisfying. 3.5 LPA is the avg package for an ECE student. Placement ratio are very good. This year the highest package was 7.6 lpa i guess and that was off campus i heard. companies like microsoft, samsung do visit our campus.
College Events
Few events are celebrated in college like teacher's day, a week ago we had our fresher's. Anugoonj is a major event celebrated by the ggs IP university itself. "Conversance" It is the annual cultural cum technical fest of AIT. It is the platform which is use to show the talent and knowledge of the Student.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is really feasible as its a government institute. our fees for b.tech is 35000 per year. yes i know thats very cheap. Thats the beauty of our college. The fees is so low that you can fulfil your other expenses. Unlike uptu colleges, they have a fees of 1 lakh per year cause its a private institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually there is one scheme by the government, they provide the tuition fees of those students whose parents earn less than 2 lakhs per year and the student is in a gov college of delhi. Other than that the fees is really low, so no loan facility is provided by our college.
Campus Life
Campus life here is really great. We use to hangout a lot man its really fun. Gender ratio is really poor, we have 5 girls in the batch of 76 students. Mostly people are from delhi and NCR region. In sports we have basketball, volleyball, TT, badminton, etc.
Faculty
Faculty is pretty good. well, except for some guest faculties they have for 1st year students. Actually guest faculty comes here every year for the 1st year students. Otherwise lab assistants are good permanent faculties are great here. They have great communication skills.
