I have applied for amity university but due to the increasing cases of covid, I dropped that plan and then applied to SMVDU. The admission process is very simple, You have to apply online through their official website. Eligibility- Cat/mat + 50% Marks in graduation +WAT( written aptitude test)

I want to start my career as a financial consultant that's why I choose this course. The faculty of SMVDU is good except few professors. Right now they are teaching us online and they also give us assignments, case studies, and ppt every week.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Placement Experience

Yes, smvdu does provide campus placement.Companies like ICICI BANK, hdfc ,OPPO etc visit our campus. The highest package offered by these companies was of Rs. 8 lakh a f the minimum package was of Rs 4 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of Smvdu is somewhat expensive as compared to other B- SCHOOLS in Jammu. For the first year, the cost to study MBA is Rs 2,25,000. I have not availed of any scholarship from the university, so I clearly don't have any idea about it.

Campus Life

When you're at smvdu, don't expect that your campus life is gonna be very lively and happy. however the campus lies between the beautiful TRIKUTA MOUNTAINS, and it's really beautiful. But one thing that I don't like about SMVDU is its irregular teaching schedule. They will take your class at any hour of the day. So be prepared for that.

Hostel Facilities

It's mandatory to take hostels while you're in Smvdu. Within your room, you'll get a bed, an almirah, and a study table. Every floor has a separate bathroom. Then there is also one mess where you'll get a three-time meal.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

The students are eligible for the placements from 3rd semester itself. The companies that provide placement in the department are ICICI BANK, AMAZON , ITC, BIRLA OPUS, HDFC BANK and many other . The ICICI Bank offers the highest package i.e. almost 10 lakh .

Well it is good to b an MBA in my residential area, that people mostly belong to tourism sector, The guidance and honesty among my teachers transform into me to face the world. Needs to upgrade the teachers training with technology. Exam papers are extremely difficult and the level is high, although our teachers were very talented who teach us how to handle each and every tough situation.

I chose this college as I liked the campus because where it is located that is known as the heaven of India. As we know Jammu & Kashmir's climate is very awesome and the college is near to the city, the airport and they offer the best foreign exchange program that helps in studying abroad.

Admission:

The admission to the MBA programme is based on the CUCET score which is conducted by the college. The minimum eligibility criteria for the general category is 55% marks with a bachelors degree. Same applies for masters in some other field.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
