I was applied for Pusa Institute of Technology and Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology but I opted for GBPIT Okhla because Study environment in this college is Not comparable with any institute . Admission criteria For admission is You have passed High School with a minimum 45% and Give an attempt In Common Admission Test Now Conducted by Dseu .
Course Curriculum Overview
I Completed my Mechanical Engineering Diploma from Gbpit Okhla Because im interested in Machines . Faculty Student Ratio is 1:60 . Faculty are highly Qualified.Mostly faculty done Mtech and Phd in engineering so Education quality is high . Semester exam Conduct on time . Semester exam Difficulty is moderate but you do work hard for exams to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Many Companies offered paid or non-paid internship. Companies are Maruti Suzuki, Honda ,Acc Cement ,Dmrc , DDA, Swaraj tractor,Mahindra, etc. Mine project was maintenance of tractor at Swaraj tractor limited . Internship provides because to Helping students that what actually engineers do in industry and to give practical knowledge to students
Placement Experience
In 5 semesters of Final year students are eligible for Campus Placements. The minimum percentage for getting Placements is above 70 % . My plan is to get Campus Placement after getting a degree and improve my knowledge and skills in the engineering sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is very low. In the first year you have to pay 8000 Rs per year then remaining years you have to pay 6000 Rs per year. Economically weaker Students get Scholarships from college. Also college provides scholarships on basis of merits like 10 class Marks and Semester Exam Marks.
Campus Life
Every Year College conducts a Fresher party and Annual Sports Meet in December. College library is the best facility here All books are available here and the library staff is very Supportive. Sports facility also good here Like one pitch of cricket, one football ground and An open Gym and Ncc also here
