Remarks
For admission, I gave the IPU CET entrance exam. It was a MCQ based exam. The eligibility criteria for the CET exam was to pass in grade 12th {10+2} CBSE exam with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The candidate must also have passed the English (core, elective or functional) as a subject. My rank in the CET exam was somewhere around 4500.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bachelors Of Business Administration as I want to pursue Masters In Business Administration in the near future. I chose Delhi Metropolitan Education keeping in mind the campus placements, the close proximity to my residence and the faculty at the college. The course curriculum is very relevant and the exams are also made with perfect strategies. The faculty is great with knowledgable teachers who are readily available to help us students. I love the teaching techniques of mostly all my proffesors even during online classes. They have a special way of involving all the students with the help of meaningful debates and discussions in the class.
Internships Opportunities
The internship oppurtunites provided by my college were a lot especially during the 2nd and the 3rd year. There were many big recruting companies ready to offer internships, mostly unpaid to the students. These internships provided a lot of hands on experience and skills to the students which will be benefecial for them in the future.
Placement Experience
I want to pursue MBA after my graduation. There were placements at my college but they were very limited. However, many internship oppurtunities were provided during the 2nd year and the 3rd year. Due to internships, students coulf earn a lot of skills and learn how things work in an organisation.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any scholarship offered by DME as such. The fee for my Course Bachelors in Business Administration is around 1 Lakh per year. The college also increased the fee during the 4th semester.
Campus Life
The college has a great library with books of every genre. The students can even issue academic books to study or refer to during exams instead of buying them. The classrooms also have an air conditioner which is a huge plus point. There is also an amphitheatre, auditorium for fests etc. There are regular competions and muns organized in the college campus itself which provides great exposure.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a written entrance exam names IPU CET. It was an MCQ-based exam with different sections like Logical Reasoning, Management Aptitude, General Awareness, etc. It also had negative markings. The ranks were then declared on the basis of performance in this entrance exam. I took coaching from an institute for clearing the exam.
