SMVDU MBA

I haven't applied for any other college because SMVDU has a great name in the field of management and also provides a great campus placement that's why I chose to take admission in SMVDU. Didn't avail any quota for taking admission in SMVDU. For taking admission here, one needs to be a minimum of 50% marks in the graduation and also go through the entrance test conduct by them every year and also through the GD/PI round.

I choose this course because I wanted to make my career in the private sector and also wanted to explore life in the corporate sector. There were 7 teachers and 60 students. The faculty here are very well qualified and the teaching method is also top notch.

Companies like Hdfc, Shriram, Axis, ICICI, Yes bank, etc. visit the campus during the MBA programme for giving internship opportunities to the students and also offers an average stipend of 4000-10000 depending upon the performance of the intern.

After the completion of the 2nd semester, the students become eligible for the campus placements here, and companies like Hdfc, Axis, Shriram visit the campus for giving job offers to the students with an annual package of 5-7 lakh. 70-75% of my batch got the campus placements from here.

The fees hike policy is also pretty affordable as MBA is an expensive degree but in SMVDU it will only cost you around 98000 per year as an academic fee. Students having more than 80 percentile in the CAT/MAT exam can only avail scholarship scheme of the university.

Only two annual fests use to take place in the university for the management students known as Titiksha and Tatva. In the exam times, usually, there is some shortage of books but that's not a big deal I think it's normal in other colleges too. The classrooms have all the amenities needed in the classrooms. A sports fest also use to take place on the university campus where the students across India take participate and win exciting rewards. Vikalp is a social group run by students.

The rooms of the hostel are well-managed and have separate beds, separate rooms for students with having attached almirah facility. Well, the food of mess is not so great at all. For every student who takes admission here getting a hostel facility is mandatory here.

During my GD they asked me questions regarding the "Leader vs. Followers" and asked me about my views on this topic and after that, a PI round took place in the university and once you clear both of these rounds you'll get a letter of offer from the university.
