My admission process was completed through government counselling. Depends on the rank which we get in kcet exams. I had 3 rounds of counselling, 1st round,2nd round and 2nd extended round. In the second round, I got in CMRIT. I took the admission letter from the website and went to college to take admission. it was an easy process. I aimed to get admission to the CMR Institute of technology.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love electronics subject. As ECE is an evergreen branch I opted for it. Our college is under vtu. Faculties are always supportive and will always guide you throughout your time spent there. Most all the faculties have PhD qualifications and have lots of experience in teaching. Faculties teach us understandably and easily. They also show animated videos to understand concepts better. there are 3 internal exams conducted each semester. In the end, we have End semester exams which are conducted by VTU. If we study all concepts daily it's easy to score well in entire semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
college help in finding the internship and also faculty assist selection process. Our faculty make more efforts in finding and giving the best information about the internship. college updates every student about the latest internship program available.
Placement Experience
placements are very good. The college trains students from the beginning of the first semester. College also conducts different kinds of aptitude classes for the betterment of students placements. Classes like TYL, soft skills, etc are conducted. students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th sem. This year highest package offered was 24LPA. almost 70-80% of students got placed into good companies like Microsoft, Huawei, biju, Accenture, Wipro, etc. Many core companies also visit our college. Students are eligible to attend the interview until they get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are reasonable. College fees depend upon the mode of admission like KCET, Comed-k, management, lateral entry etc. Generally, about 75k per Annum through kcet. there are scholarships offered to students depending on our performance and also the family income in some cases.
Campus Life
Our college conducts an annual fest named cultura. Generally, in even semester it's a grand event of our college having lots of fun and many competition's held. classrooms are clean and adequate. There is also the library in our college which have textbooks and reference materials where we gain lots of knowledge. CMRIT also has a digital library where we students can access all books, materials through the internet. There are many clubs which conduct different competitions and activities. Our college also has 2 canteens which are very spacious and comfortable and they also serve hygienic food.
