SPND College Review

I have applied to many colleges like K. J. Somaiya, Jhunjhunwala College and many more. But the reason I didn't choose was because I got reviews that this college provides good quality education. Minimum marks is more than 50%. The admission process was very easy. We were given the details of what documents we have to bring and the payment method was also told. After checking all the documents we were given admission in the college/department.

I choose the BMS course because I was really interested in exploring new subjects and it provided a wide variety of knowledge and experience. Faculty helps students to grow in different aspects of their life. Teachers of our department are well qualified and experienced. All the teachers have more than 10 years of experience in the field of teaching. All the teachers have experiences of working in corporate world too. The teaching method is excellent because they balance studies with extra-curricular activities. There are guest lectures conducted by the corporate people who share their own experience with the students. There are 6 semesters in total. 2 semesters every year and exams are not too difficult to pass if you study regularly.

TCS, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Prudential, Motilal Oswal, Bharti AXA, HDFC Securities, HR Tech, and many more. Roles offered by them are Brand Media/ Manager, Entrepreneurship, Sales and Marketing Manager, Production/ Operations Manager, HR Executive/ Recruitment, Finance and Accounts Manager, etc. Many projects are given to students and they all exceed in it.

We get placements in 3rd year. ICICI Bank, Flipkart, Axis Bank, Motilal Oswal, and many more provide placements for our department. Average starting package is Rs. 20000. 100% students are getting placements. After getting degree I'll definitely do job.

Compared to other colleges the course fee is low. Students who have caste certificates and Gujarati minority are given financial assistance by the college. Even students who are bright are given scholarships. Job and placement opportunities are given in 3rd year.

BMS department runs a club called ''Samachar Pe Vichar Club ". Students share management and business news on a WhatsApp group. They then convene periodically to discuss the articles. Members also discuss management jargons, share riddles and brain teasers. After every meeting, the editorial team prepares a newsletter for reading of the members.Progress of students is evident in terms of knowledge of management topics and current affairs, personality development and public speaking, administrative capabilities, soft skills like team management, leadership skills, etc.
