ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Pusa Institute of Technology, New Delhi Delhi NCR is established in the year 1962 as Public Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Engineering. Pusa Institute of Technology is having Affiliation with reputed AICTE. Management of Pusa Institute of Technology, New Delhi is working under Mr. O P Sharma. The admissions to the different diploma courses are based on the Common Entrance Test (CET Delhi) taken by the Department Of Training & Technical Education (DTTE), Delhi in May /June every year. The Notification is out in the month of April every year. The minimum eligibility criteria for the student to be selected with a minimum 35 per cent aggregate in English, Maths, Science & pass in rest of the subjects in Class 10th. The subjects Science, Mathematics & English are compulsory and the candidate should have passing marks in each of these three subjects without considering grace Marks. NCC is also in the campus as 2 Delhi Batallion, Pusa

So far as our faculty are concerned they are best toward their work they have great intellectual with the students and help the students a lot at their best. There are two semesters in one year and the whole diploma is of 3 years (expect lateral entry) and the students who did 12th can also be eligible for the course and those students diploma is for only two years. Our exam is conducted as SESSIONAL EXAMS who contains 40 marks in each semester (Sessional 1- 20 Marks and Sessional 2 - 20 Marks and 10 marks for an assignment, behaviour, attendance,and so on)

there are many companies offer under internship with stipend most of us do the internship without pay. coming to the projects and outcomes due to lockdown there is no such good projects are drawn by us.

from the fifth semester, students are eligible for the placements and companies also visit the campus. There is a lot of company e who visit the Pusa institute of technology some of them are Tata motors Maruti Suzuki Honda ibex venture and many more. Students have to score at least 60% marks in their overall performance in the diploma so they can also be eligible for the campus placement.

There is just a nominal fee for the course. Ist year - 8,000/- ( 6,000 institutional fees + 2,000 security). IInd year - 6,000/- (Only institutional fees). IIIrd year - 6,000/- (Only Institutional fees). even we got the scholarship from the government for those students who scored well in their academics. and SC/ST scholarship also provided by the TATA GROUP OF INDUSTRIES.

For the extracurricular activities, You can Join NATIONAL CADET CORPS, you can also join the gym with permission from our PTI teacher. You can also create or join some of the clubs and be part of it.
