I get into this college by passing COMED K exam. I got 22 thousand rank. As this college is nearby SDM dharwad and my elder brother was a pass out student from that college he suggested me to join this college because he has a great experience from his college life. Lifestyle of this college and campus is much more delighting. Education is also of high level and also follow digital India concept.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is B.E (Industrial and Production Engg). As this branch meet all the required process to setup in an industry and deal with productivity. Some courses like Production process, Supply Chain Management, Operation Management, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Process, Production Planning etc, are the core of this course. This course is so much required in an industry.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, it provides internship. It varies from company to company. Such as Microsoft gives an stipend of 3.5 lac per half annul. Juniper also offers internship. Robert Bosch also offers internship but Stipend information is not available. And during internship, the are called in their company based on their performance. They also provide permission letter to visit an industry related to their projects or training purpose.
Placement Experience
Placement of college is very good. Accenture selected 372 students from BVB CET. There are so much job opportunities from this college as till now 30+ Companies, including MNC, has already visited to our campus and above 70% placement is already being done. Placement Record is getting better year by year. Most of the company are yet to come.
College Events
There are approx. 3-5 events are celebrated in our college every year. Sapphire, Pleiades are two major events of our college. Including Department's events there are more then 200 events are done every year. Cultural events include skit, fashion show, dance competition etc. Technical events are like Solar car championship, Hybrid vehicle championship, robot fight etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is vary from department to department. Core branches(Computer Science, Information Science, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Civil) has its fee 1.57 lac per year where the branches like Industrial and production, Automobile, Automation & Robotics, Biotech, Instrumentation has 85-90k per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Scholarship is provided to the students but I don't have information about Loan facility yet. But I think it is not yet started, but scholarship is provided to students which have poor family background.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of our college is perfect, many Faculty are passed out from this colleges and some of them are from IIT. Senior student who are passed out are also very much helpful as they have a great experience of higher studies and studies to be done to go foreign. They conduct seminar and talks which provide the students abandon of information so that they have a clear view for doing further studies.
Exam Structure
It is an Autonomous college, so Question Pattern is based on Syllabus which is planned by Faculty of their departments. There are total 3 exams need to be given in One semester. There are 2 minor exams and 1 semester end exam. Minor exams are of 25 marks each where 20 marks is for written exam and 5 marks is foe assignment. And Sem end exam is of 100 marks which is evaluated in 50.
Admission
By giving COMED K exam and meeting the eligibility criteria. Admission process is done by two round of counselling, as there are approx 200 colleges in Karnataka So according to the rank, the college seats are available. I got 22 thousand rank and opted for BVBCET college, Hubli. Fifty thousand is paid while confirming the admission and remaining money need to be paid in college Bank with challan or Bank draft.
Faculty
Faculty of this college are very Energetic and have an eager to share their knowledge to students. They are so much Supportive and also shows us path were we have a bright future ahead and always initiate us to put your idea and do something innovative. In simple words they are very good to students.
