Remarks

The admission process involves going to counselling, which has the basic criteria as cut off marks and not the entrance. The cutoff marks are calculated by combining marks from physics, chemistry and mathematics. I've applied for panimalar, st. joseph and SSN. I couldn't get SSN with my cutoff. But I got panimalar and st Joseph. But I opted panimalar as it is better than st. joseph college.

I did choose this course because IT is a growing industry in nowadays world and also I have a specific interest over this domain since I was young. Panimalar is famous for computer science and engineering and I specifically wanted this college if I have to go with this course. The faculties here are mostly doctorates in their respective domain and they teach people very effectively and nicely. The faculty student ratio is nearly about 15:1.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are good in this college and about 85% of people who have no arrears got their job. Companies that offered placements include cognizant, tata consultancy services, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, LTI and many more. The salary ranges from 2,40,000 being the lowest to 6,50,000 being the highest by the campus jobs. People also opted for higher studies from the college after completing the college here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is about 1,25000 for counselling students and an additional 15000 will be charged for students from the management quota. The fee of 125000 is divided into tuition fee, bus fee, mess fee, industrial visits and tour fee and miscellaneous fees. There is a special scholarship for students who are in the Christian community. Apart from that, students who are first graduates in their family, also get scholarships.

Campus Life

There is a huge library situated in the college with many facilities like an online library etc. There is also separate department libraries in each department and all are air conditioned. The labs are also air conditioned. There are no fests conducted in the college, except one fest which is called college day and it's more like a cultural day happen for one day, once a year. Also there's a hostel day for hostel students alone once a year

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
