A Dream College is Arya College

I chose Arya College because of the following reasons: state of the art infrastructure, top class faculty with lots of experience in every area, amazing campus with a lot of scope for academics, sports, and cultural activities as well, not so strict regarding the dress code, amazing placements when you come into the final year, supporting every student in both academics as well as other areas too. You will have the best four years of college than you can ever imagine in your life and it is highly impossible to bid goodbye to Arya when you complete your the course. The admission process is quite smooth,just fulfilling the desired requirements such as fees, documents, etc. One must have secured 75% marks in 12th board with PCM.

To pursue my career in the field of engineering and be a software engineer I thought it best to choose this course. The education quality of the institute is very good along with the well-set curriculum. Along with education, this programme includes research in the field of computer science and engineering through industrial collaboration. The faculty of the college is very well trained and qualified. The faculty: student ratio is 1:20. The faculty is aware of how to operate the latest technology gadgets. They try to explain everything by giving proper facts and figures. They clear our doubts very well which makes us pass our exams easy.

Internship opportunities are available from the 1st year itself.Like my classmates I also applied for an internship for the post of Software Developer. I got selected by the private firm. My internship was of 3 months, and I learned a lot by my internship where my role was of software development. I earned a stipend of about Rs.5,000 per month.

Students after their fifth semester are eligible for campus placement. College campus is visited by topmost companies like Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, CISCO,TCS etc. Almost 80% of the students get placed during the campus placement. The highest salary package offered by the companies is Rs.40,00,000 and the average salary package is about Rs6,00,000- 7,00,000. I am also planning to get placed in one of these companies.

The fees of the course is Rs.3.20 lakhs for 4 years and is a bit affordable in comparison to the other colleges. The college provides various scholarship options like Government of India scholarship, AICTE Pragati and Saksham Scholarship, Adi-dravidar and Tribal Welfare Special scholarship etc.

The campus of the college is very wide and beautiful. It is fully facilitated by having proper labs, transportation facilities, gym, WiFi, indoor and outdoor games etc. The library of the college is quite big and holds more than one lakh books, along with journals and the latest magazines. Several fests and events are organized by the college like Nebula which is an annual techno-cultural fest that is organized by students under the guidance of the faculty. This fest is generally organized in the month of March every year. We have a department of physical education that focuses on the sports activities of the college. Clubs like fine arts club, pathshala club, cap and nature club are there to bring out the creative side of students.

The hostel facility provided by the college is very good, though the price is a bit high but affordable. We have separate hostels for boys and girls. We can choose rooms as per our choice of sharing the room or owning the room singularly. Facilities of wifi, laundry, gym etc are also there in the hostel. The food in the mess is fine though it does not taste like homemade food.
