MBA- SMVDU

I haven't applied for any other college because SMVDU is one of the reputed university and situated in my hometown so that's why I only opted for SMVDU and luckily I got admission here. The admission criteria follows:- minimum 50% marks in the graduation, once appeared in CAT/MAT, the entrance test conducted by the university known as "SMVDEE" after this you'll recieve an offer letter on your e-mail regarding your admission.

I choose MBA because i wanted to explore the private sector and make my career in the corporate sector. The faculty of SMVDU is one of the best in terms of helping, supporting and coordinating with their students . The term exams conducts just after the completion of the syllabus.

Many companies visits the campus for providing the internships to the students such as Axs, Prescon, Shriram, Hdfc, Yes bank and alott different tasks to the candidates on the daily basis and provides a minimum stipend of 4000-9000 per month.

From the beginning of the 3rd semester students become eligible for the pre campus placements and starts getting offers from the companies like Shriram, Axis, Hdfc, Yes bank, etc. with a minimum pay of 4 to 8 lakh per annum. From my batch almost 60% of students gets the placement from the university.

The fee structure of SMVDU is also good not so much high not so much low, you can say that it's average. Scholarship facility is also provided by the university to the students having more than 80 percentile in the CAT/MAT exams.

Tatva and Titiksha are two annual fests which is conducted by the university every year for the students in which the students get chance to showcase their talent. There is no such shortage of books in the library you'll get acess to the library 24/7. Every year university conducts a Sports fest for the students in whc=ich the students across the country take participate. Vikalp is the social group run by the students.

The hostel rooms are very neat and clean and have a beautiful view in front with having seprate beds and seprate rooms for every student. The food of mess is just worst, in short not much tasty. For every student who take admission in SMVDU the hostel facility is mandatory for him/her. Gym facility is also available for the students.

In my GD the topic i got was "Banking Scams" on which a healthy debate happened for around 30 minutes and after that a PI round happened and after clearing the PI round a final list make out by the university regarding the candidates who are selected for the programme.
