Entrance Preview
I had given AIEEE and MHTCET entrance examination. The college is very well known in Maharashtra. I was interested in this course only. This was the only college choice of mine for the course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was according to the SGBAU scheme. The scheme for various courses are available on sgbau.ac.in according to which the college is taking various courses. The course curriculum was good, but still there are many changes possible according to the need of the industries.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provide internship to the students. Faculties are visiting the companies to build the relationship and hunt for the internship for the students.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are really good at our college. Their is a special Training and placement cell present to look after these things. Tata Consultancy Services is the major recruiter at our college. There are many more companies coming to the college.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college. Independance day, Republic day and other national festivals are celebrated. We use to have our cultural festival for two days every year. We all use to have national level technical events at our college for two days every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships and freeships are available as per the government schemes. Loan facilities are available for students through the banks.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are the best at very reasonable price. We will not get such facilities at any other place at such price. There are many seperate hostels available for boys as well as girls which can accomodate all the students studying in the college. Mess food is also good at affordable price.
Alumni/Alumna
College is having a strong network of alumni. Every year college use to organise grand alumni meet. They share their experiences with current students.
Exam Structure
Classes and labs are very regular, daily from 11:00 am to 5:45 pm we use to have our classes. And after every month we use to have class test, which helps us to prepare for the semester examination. Semester exams are conducted twice a year which includes theory as well as practical.
Admission
Admission process was through DTE. CAP rounds were scheduled before which we have to fill our all details and get it verified at ARC centre with original documents. Then fill the option form, and wait for the results. I got selected in cap round after which I confirmed my admission at the college.
Faculty
The faculties of our college are very good. All are atleast Post Graduate. They are really interested in teaching the course. There are many senior faculties also available. Their experience is very helpful not only for students but also for other new faculties.
