GCET Internship Status

I was expecting JSS Noida due to its location but could not get that due to low marks in the UPSEE Entrance examination and even I did not have state quota as well but I must say I am happy with what I got . To get admitted to Colleges like GCET, JSS Noida first of all you must fill UPSEE application form. There is a slight change in the admission process as from 2021 the admission process will be based on JEE Mains marks. Fill the application form and go for all rounds of counselling even if you could not score well in JEE mains . The application form starts from April-may and lasts until about a week after the last JEE Attempt once you are allotted a seat either freeze the sheat or go for the next round of counselling.

The college is affiliated with AKTU which is a prestigious University that controls the curriculum, teaching methodology of the college also the faculty: student ratio is better as compared to deemed universities which will be about 30:1. Most of the faculty members have done doctorates from reputed colleges. Their teaching method is student friendly I must say they will definitely clear your doubts if you ask them. Exams are taken by AKTU on the given dates and also the questions are moderate and not that difficult to pass.

AKTU has a separate AKTU internship program which you can apply on the AKTU student portal if you are eligible for it you will be getting it although no of the students who get an internship is not that good both paid and unpaid internship is available. Companies like Samsung or some startup companies visit for internships.

Most of the students here get placed most of the students get placed in mass recruiter companies like TCS, Infosys etc. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft also visits the campus but takes less than 10 students. Average placement is 3-4 lac per annum although some also get the placement of about 30lacs p.a. Last year one of our seniors got placed in Amazon on a package of 30lacs per annum.

The fee for 1st year students is 125603 which includes 15000 of security money payable only in the first year also if you are having a domicile of UP and fulfil the criteria of scholarship you will be getting a scholarship of 50K per annum. General category students may or may not get it depending upon the government decision. If you are having a financial problem you can also apply for the fee waiver category. Fee waiver students have to pay a very negligible amount. Placement in the college is moderate I must say although some students get the placement of about 30lacs p.a.

The infrastructure of the college is good with a campus area of 20acres fests and events of GCET is very much popular in Greater Noida.We have separate clubs for singing, sports, etc run by the student council of GCET.We have a very good freshers party for 1st year students as well as a farewell for final year students .The library here is good and moderate in sie you could easily find a book of your curriculum but not sure about other books. For sports you have to take initiatives from your side not separate coach for all sports and also you are not going to get any sports equipment from the college you have to carry yours
