A good college for engineering

Arya Group of College is one of the premier institute in India which is imparting quality education. It is situated in the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The main reason for choosing this college is the environment we get in colleges like Arya is very very different from other colleges. Here you can shape your personality. One can apply for admission in both offline and online mode and also through REAP(REAP code is 14).

From my childhood, I dreamt to make my career in the research and development field. Electrical engineering is the field where you can see so many opportunities in research areas. And another reason for choosing this college is, I like the electrical branch. Before choosing your branch you must study its curriculum. The faculty is very good at Arya. In my department, there is a total of 30 teachers including research scholars. Most of the facilities are PhD holders. There are 2 tests (known as T1 and T2) and End semester exam.

Internship opportunities are available from 1st year itself in this college. Few companies offer internships along with placement. Some of them also give PPOs to a few students. Internships are important as far as placements are concerned. Many students get internships off-campus. Internships help students a lot during their placement process.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In one year around 200+ companies visit Arya. For EE, there are 15-20 companies. The main companies which recruit electrical engineering graduates are Essar group, Ircon International Limited, Jaypee Group, Punj Lloyd and many more. the highest package was 32 LPA and for electrical it was 10 LPA. If you consider overall colleges performance then the placement percentage is 85% and for electrical its 80%.

As compared to other private colleges Arya demands very few fees. Every year college increases college fees by 10%. The program fee for 4 years is Rs 3.00 lakhs. Rajasthan government provides various scholarships for students. With these, some private companies also give scholarships to needy and talented students. This means if you have calibre then there are many chances or we can say opportunities for you in Arya.

The institute has numerous clubs and festivals for social interaction and development. The Arya Group of Colleges celebrates its most awaited 3 days National Level, Technical Symposium cum Fest “Shraddhanjali” which is celebrated with great pomp and show every year and provides a National Platform to the students from all over the country to showcase their talent. The Power club by ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT is for the people who have an unquenchable thirst to be different. Technical and informal events throughout the year are conducted - be it Contraptions, which involve the application of engineering concepts of several streams. We have a very big College library at Arya. The classrooms are in good condition. Arya is known for its extracurricular activities, there are more than 10 clubs in Arya.

Hostels are pretty small and old. Many of them are in dire need of repair and renovation. The institute is trying hard to maintain them and make use of the space available for new construction, but I think it will take time. But I would say it is not that bad and students get used to it. In fact, hostel memories are greatly cherished by everyone for their entire life. The food is good and edible not like the ones shown in typical movie hostels. The prejudice I had before having a meal at my hostel was nowhere justified and I was happy.
