How I learned a skill, build a business and made a contract with college in my college!

As an NRI student, the admission process for me was very simple. I just went to the admission in charge which is also the CSE HOD and gave my details and the amount to book my seat. The minimum marks required were 60% above. I didn't attend any counseling sessions as I am already in the NRI quota, to begin with.

I choose IT engineering because of the passion that I have for the field. The college has huge computer labs with 300+ capacities. The labs are extremely well equipped with the necessary equipment. We Have well-qualified teachers who teach us beyond academics also. For every 20 students, there is a mentor. Internal exams are conducted after every 2.5 units or 2 months which is sufficient time. They are always ready to solve our doubts and make us understand the concepts in detail.

We have many industrial tie-ups and collaborate every now and then. So the students from the 2nd year themselves start internships. We have a placements director that does sessions on how to be corporate-ready. More over we have multiple webinars and seminars on understanding the corporate culture.

In the 3rd semester, the students are eligible for campus placements and training. 45+ companies and 211+ offers for the year 2020-2021 The highest package this year was 11.50 Lac and the average packages are 3 lacs. 40% students get placed I plan to pursue my master's after my degree.

There is no hike in fees. If you are a management student the structure is very clear: 1st year - Rs. 78,000 + Rs. 8500 2nd year - Rs. 78.000 + Rs. 5000 3rd year - " 4th year - " It is for both tuition fees and university fees. 85% of students avail scholarships and pay just university fees due to the scholarship programs. We have more than 45+ MNCs recruiting from our campus itself. The highest package in the campus was 13.42 Lakhs and the average package is 4 Lakhs.

Life at the campus is extremely soothing due to the natural environment that we have surrounding the entire college. The greenery and the blue sky are one to watch and the birds chirping in the morning are something that enlightens us each morning. We have more than 20+ Clubs in the college that lets us explore the best of our abilities and recognizes and with award felicitations every year-round. We have the biggest sports facilities in all minority colleges and a gym also so that I can relieve my stress, all the necessities are provided in all kinds of sports as well. We have many clubs run by students themselves like the E-cell.
